Qawra Bay dive site is located on the south east side of Qawra Point peninsula. This shallow and sheltered bay is a great place for confined water training and try dives. The depth in the bay is between 2 and 10 metres. The bottom is mainly sand and Posidonia seagrass patches. The bay is home to a variety of sea life.

★★★☆☆ 3 Stars for freediving/snorkelling, and only really in early summer, as by summer itself the water is so clogged with suncream and algal blooms the vis can be awful. Very extensive seagrass meadows, and in the early portion of summer you may be lucky enough to see some large pregant female stingrays coming shallow, likely to give birth before disappearing back into the depths. Good training area though.
