HMS Kingston (F64) is World War II wreckage in Malta. Kingston was a British K-class destroyer built in 1939 . She was about 109 m in length and 11 m wide. Kingston sunk in an air raid at the dock in April 1942. In 1943 the wreck of HMS Kingston was floated out of the dock and scuttled as a blockship between Selmun headland and Selmunett island aka St Paul's Island. In the early 1950s the remains of Kingston were scrapped in situ. The wreckage, a few pieces of metal, lies in shallow water in the middle of the 100 m wide channel between the mainland and the island. The depth ranges between 3 m and 12 m, and slopes deeper to around 25 m inwards to the bay. The bottom is sand and patches of sea grass.
