Ras il-Hobz, also known as Middle Finger, is a pinnacle rising out from depths of 40+ m to around 10 m. The pinnacle attracts a lot of sea life, like amberjacks, dentex and moray eels. Also crayfish and hermit crabs are found in the cracks, along with various types of corals.

The shoreline slopes down to reach depths of 80+ meters, but the most interesting parts can be reached with a max depth of 25 m. This dive site is used for technical diving training because of enough depth accessible from the shore.

Pascal Pardoux, November 2023:
★★★★★ Amazing dive around a marine summit whose tip is located at a depth of -8m and which can descend to more than -80m - Parking difficult to access in rainy weather - Easy launching
Adam Sant, October 2020:
★★★☆☆ Lots of colorful sponges in the deeper part of the pinnacle. Not too much too see, but sea life is good when there is some current.
Matjaz Repnik, October 2017:
★★★★★ Until now best position in Gozo in meaning of a lot of Fishes. Especialy one Tuna was all time swimming around us. It was good feeling like listen one good rock song ;)
Mika Tanninen, April 2015:
★★★★ I like the pinnacle. Easy dive to plan and some times there is plenty of fish around the area.
