★★☆☆ from 2 divers

Valley is the starting and ending point for shore dives in Wied iz-Zurrieq. The shallow and narrow bay is gently sloping deeper, maximum depth inside the inlet being around 15 metres. The rock bottomed valley is suitable for all levels of divers, and often used for training and practise dives, also for technical dive training. Wied iz-Zurrieq valley is excellent site for night diving too. There is an abundance of marine life around and under the small overhangs and rocks within the inlet.

Starting the dive from the valley, there is a choice of two fabulous reefs and the best wreck in Malta: East Reef is a wall with depths over 30 m, West Reef has drop-offs, ledges, gullies, boulders and two caves, and Um El Faroud wreck was a 110-metres long Libyan oil tanker scuttled in 1998 for scuba diving.

★★☆☆☆ Not much to see in the valley...decent for spotting small stuff during night dives.
Mika Tanninen, January 2015:
★★★☆☆ Few small caves with some interesting sea life if you're lucky.
